Practical Test

Remember you can't do your Practical Test until you have passed your Theory Test!

 Your Practical Test

We will do Mock Tests under Test conditions to make sure you are ready for your Practical Test.

You will need to learn the >>Show Me Tell Me's<< before your test. 

You will have a 1 hour lesson before your test. We will practice manoeuvres and anything else you want too before your test and then arrive at the Test Centre about 10 minutes before your test.

On Your Practical Test

• Your Test will last about 40 minutes.
• You will be given an Eye Site Check by the examiner.
• You will be asked 2 Show Me Tell Me's!
• You will be asked to do one of these manoeuvres...

                        - Turn in the road

                        - Bay park

                        - Left reverse (reversing round a corner)

                        - Parallel park

• You will be asked to do some Independent driving - this is designed to assess your ability to drive safely whilest making decisions independently. You will either be given directions by the examiner or asked to follow signs.
• You may also be asked to do an EMERGENCY STOP.

YOU ARE ALLOWED 15 MINOR FAULTS, NO SERIOUS OR DANGEROUS FAULTS!
